Dr. Robert Axelrad

Practicing dentistry for 30 years, Dr. Robert Axelrad is a dentist in Brampton that has owned and managed his own dental practice since 1997. He moved his clinic to its current, state-of-the-art dental office in Brampton in 2002 to accommodate his growing list of happy patients. Dr. Axelrad did his education at the University of McGill in Montreal and is a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). Over his career, he has gained experience in a wide variety of dental procedures.

Dr. Axelrad is known for being caring and thorough in his dental practice, often times meeting with new patients for up to an hour, making sure they’re properly diagnosed and that treatment is properly planned. Dr. Axelrad continuously tries to make the dental experience better for every patient. When not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family, singing, reading, exercising and watching movies. After doing much of his education in Montreal, Dr. Axelrad has a firm grasp on the French language to accompany his English.

Dr Keshavarz

With nearly 20 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Keshavarz is a dentist in Brampton who has dedicated her life to the profession and the care of her patients. To ensure the best care for her patients, Dr. Keshavarz routinely participates in continuing education and professional training courses. Dr. Keshavarz believes in taking time to understand the oral health needs of each of her patients. Recently, she has taken up bike riding and especially enjoys riding with her kids. She speaks both English and Farsi.



Sasha is our office manager. With over a decade of experience to her name, she’s known for her attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills and kindness. Sasha graduated from the Dental Assisting and Reception program at CDI College. She is certified in both CPR and HARP (X-ray safety). Outside the office, Sasha loves spending time with her husband and dog. An active person, she enjoys snowboarding, camping, rock climbing and rollerblading. Sasha speaks both English and Italian.



Sandra is our Dental Receptionist. She has over three years of experience. She graduated from the Dental Receptionist Program at George Brown College in 2014. She always has a warm greeting for our patients. Outside of the office, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, to travel and try new things. Sandra speaks both English and Italian.



A graduate of the Canadian College of Dental Health, Noreen has been a dental hygienist for over 10 years. She is certified in CPR and HARP (x-ray safety) and affiliated with the College of Dental Hygienists and Ontario Dental Hygiene Association. She is also trained in Soft Tissue Management Therapy and has lots of good advice for patients on how to take care of their mouths. Noreen loves the outdoors and to trek.€ She also loves entertaining others and cooking. She speaks four languages: Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu and English.



Derlyn is the “veteran”€ dental hygienist at Dr. Axelrad’s dentist office. She has over 15 years worth of experience as a dental assistant and graduated from the A-Plus Institute of Dental Hygiene in 2005. Derlyn is affiliated with the College of Dental Hygienists and the Ontario Dental Hygiene Association. Her dental experience is very eclectic; Derlyn is trained in digital x-rays, CPR, HARP (x-ray safety), Invisalign, sterilization, and Sapphire/Zoom Whitening and more! Away from the dental office, Derlyn loves to cook, whether she’s at home, camping or traveling. She’s a colourful personality who enjoys singing and dancing and likes to get her competitive fire going at the bowling alley or on the badminton court. Along with English, Derlyn speaks Tagalog and Visaya.



Inna has a special understanding of how to provide patients with the utmost care and understanding. Before her 10 years of experience as a dental assistant and graduating from George Brown College, Inna was a medical nurse in Ukraine. Her vast experience dealing with patients of all sorts makes her the ideal dental assistant for Dr. Axelrad’s dental office. Inna’s affiliations include the Ontario Dental Association. She is also certified in CPR and HARP (x-ray safety). Inna has fun both indoors and outdoors when she isn’t on the job. She likes to read and draw and has a passion for interior decorating. Inna also loves to garden and enjoy the beauty of nature. She speaks English and Ukrainian.



Jason Kastner is an experienced Denturist. He gets satisfaction in making sure his patients have great looking, comfortable dentures. Jason holds both a license in Denturism (DD) and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences (BHSc). Jason produces full and partial dentures, denture relines, soft relines, implant over dentures and mouth guards. He enjoys playing recreational sports and physical training. He also has a new found passion for cooking. Jason is known for having a fun loving, caring and customer friendly attitude. He is always available to answer a patient’s questions and address their needs.

Dr Horenfeldt

Experience counts and Dr. Rick Horenfeldt has it in spades. Dr. Horenfeldt has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. Outside the dentist office, Dr. Horenfeldt lives a very active lifestyle and spends lots of time with his family. He enjoys boating and golfing in the summer, skiing in the winter, and all sorts of travelling. Dr. Horenfeldt speaks English.

Dr Leung

Raised in Toronto, Dr. Leung began his formal education at New York University, where he received degrees in Finance and Biochemistry. Upon completion of his undergraduate degrees, he relocated to the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine to pursue his doctorate and undertake periodontics training. Following his training, he returned to Toronto to begin his career as a periodontist.

Dr. Leung possesses a background in periodontics, prosthodontics and orthodontics, and is also a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto. He has lectured at many dental schools and conferences in the United States. He has a passion for helping others and restoring not only their dentition, but also their self-esteem. In his spare time, Dr. Leung enjoys cooking Asian seafood cuisine and many other types of cuisine. He also likes visiting art galleries, museums, travelling and playing baseball.

    Our office is now open. We are taking the following precautions to combat COVID-19;

    • A plexiglass barrier stands on the front desk in the waiting room.
    • All patients have their temperature taken with a non-touch digital infra-red thermometer.
    • All staff wear mask, gloves, gown, bonnet, goggles and face shield.
    • Hand sanitizers are readily available for staff and patient use.
    • Patients will wait outside or in their car until their appointment time.
    • No visitors are permitted in the office.
    • Social distancing will remain in effect in the office.
    • Patients experiencing influenza-like-illness (fever with a cough, sore throat or muscle aches) should not come to the office.
    • Air purifiers with hepa filters have been installed in each operatory and waiting room.
    • All COVID-19 precautions put forth by both the dental and hygiene boards have been put into force in the office.
